Peace Center for the Performing Arts

The Peace Center, located on a historic, six acre riverfront site in a downtown area, offers a 2100 seat Concert Hall, the 400 seat Dorothy Hipp Gunter Theatre, and an outdoor amphitheatre. The open-air Wyche Pavilion and a three-story restaurant/meeting facility, both crafted from 19th Century structures found on site, complete the complex.

• The planning process for the Peace Center was instrumental in building communication among arts presenters, resulting in Greenville’s well-integrated arts community.
• Adjustable room acoustics accommodate spoken, musical and theatrical productions.
• Audiences in cantilevered box seats have the sensation of sharing performance space.
